If you are looking for 32 / 64 bit drivers for Linksys WUSB54G Wireless G USB Adapter WUSB54G ver 4.0, look no further. I upgraded an old computer to Windows 7 recently and chooses the 64 bit version but it was a painful process trying to find drivers for the Linksys WUSB54G Wireless-G Adapter. Aug 31, 2018 - Linksys WUSB54GC Wireless-G USB Compact Network Adapter. Are able to customize the installation complete with a username. It is in network card category and is available to all software users as a free download.

I was able to get my wusb54gc ver 3.0 running on a windows 8.1 64-bit PC by using the installer available at http://support.linksys.com/en-us/support/adapters/WUSB54GC . However, I made sure to change the compatibility of the os to Windows Vista before running to ensure proper installation. I right clicked on the setup64 file > properties > compatibility > run this program in compatibility mode for windows vista (service pack 2).

Just follow the instruction and it will enable the USB adapter. Alternatively you can download the setup wizard on the same page and it will guide you through the installation
